blog post #3
to start, i want to address the issue of gender rolls in society today as we all are familiar with what is expected of you being male or female... being a woman, we are expected to clean the house, cook and tend to the needs of the family. in the midst of doing so (though we are so very good at care taking), where and when is there ever room for free time? YOU time? you are so busy taking care of everyone else that it is easy to forget about your own wants and needs. over time, this has lead to a very submissive woman. women are not naturally submissive. we are very powerful and loving beings, yes, but this does NOT make us weak, which is commonly perceived by the dominitive male... men are expected to be the bread winners and buy us nice things and/or let the woman spend the money and when he gets home from work, he gets to watch tv or play video games the rest of the evening (essentially, quite a bit more free time than the woman). and because he is the bread winner, he is "head of household" when its mostly YOU taking care of the house hold...
sounds pretty backwards if you ask me.
my reasoning behind saying women are not naturally submissive and men are not naturally dominitive is that before "civilized" society, we lived in tribes. LARGE tribes where every one was equally responsible for the duties and needs of that tribe. yes, the men hunted. and that's not because they were more capable, or more strong... but because women were seen as sacred, closer to god/spirit (and it's true, we are). the men of the indigenous tribes protected and took very good care of the females - the creators and the life bringers. back then, the women were sought out for advice, and were asked for guidance in many tough times because our intuition/connection to spirit was so great (and it still is) that it was believed we could bring much light and knowledge to a situation that was otherwise unsure. men are naturally in charge of taking action and the women were, at times, responsible for what that action was... so really, we are naturally neither submissive or dominitive. naturally, the male and female had very mutually beneficial rolls in their community/family/tribe. we naturally would work side by side, "together as one", like they say at EVERY marriage ceremony... i believe the meaning of that phrase has been lost in a "civilized" society of fear-full people. dont get me wrong, marriages today are like that of a tribe (but much smaller), growing your family, providing for the family and protecting the family... and we do still work in mutually beneficial rolls... but how its done in comparison now, as to how it was for our ancient ancestors is very, very different. despite this difference, let us not forget that as a married union and growing family, we are one, in all that we do, think and believe... no matter the difference in perspective, you are in synch and unity and harmony with each other. married or not, you are still one with Spirit and not only are you a product of love, but you are beautiful, wonderful and perfectly imperfect from the inside out.

Let's talk about pregnancy and children
Yay, blog post #2 lol
Being pregnant is such a wonderful experience, growing a human being within you. This is our first child and I'm so excited to be experiencing this miracle. <3 We're 6ish months along now, ( i say "we" because we are growing together!) and I can feel movement quite often throughout the day and night. It seems as though he/she has a schedule of his/her own... movement comes around the same times of day and lasts from seconds to minutes long, full of kicks, twists and punches to the bladder, kidneys and other surrounding organs lol sounds rough, but at this point it feels more like a bird fluttering about or maybe a fish swimming around in my ocean belly ^-^ haha, it truly is amazing.
So, you may be asking, "why dont you know the gender?", well, because I believe ultrasounds can be harmful energetically, maybe not physically. But there is a difference between energy/spiritual harm and bodily/physical harm. Of course the midwives have told me there was a study on babies who got ultrasounds and babies who didn't and there was no notable difference... yea, I don't care. I'm not subjecting my organic baby to your non-organic machinery. Also, when you are pregnant, it's important to know that the baby is learning from you and your actions/choices, even in the womb. Which is why it's a good idea to quit smoking (If you smoke) and eat healthy. Not only did I quit smoking but I began eating much healthier and doing yoga daily. And I feel AMAZING! I can't imagine smoking again and going a day without yoga is like going a day without eating! I've completely changed my tempo by doing things that benefit us (me and baby) spiritually and physically. Still trying to get my husband on the bandwagon lol he likes his soda and cigarettes. I don't blame him, i thought they were pretty yummy at one time. Then i discovered that soda leeches the calcium AND magnesium from your body and is acidic enough to rust nails and decompose a human body. EW. And it made me mad when i found out that there is added nicotine in almost every brand of cigarette. I believe that American Spirit doesn't add extra and is probably the healthiest of the unhealthy cigarettes. any way, i digress...
Children are born free spirited and are made into little robots who can't think outside the box by the education system. Sad but true. Didn't your parents tell you dreams are just dreams, hallucinations essentially? That's part of the robot programming too. Dreams AND hallucinations are real, just not on the 3rd dimension (will talk about dimensions another time). That's why it's our task as parents of our children, to guide them through life, to facilitate their learning. School is a good way to teach kids what its like to be in jail. Why? Because, think about it, when you were a child you probably A.) hated it or B.) loved it. Some times both. You hated it until you realized there was no way around it, then you loved it once you began using it to your advantage by socializing and playing with other kids, getting rewards for good grades and reprimanded for bad grades... as if those grades were a measurement of who you were and what you were capable of. School is a horrible way of educating your children, I would rather be a nomadic family traveling with the seasons and teach my children the important things like how to grow your own food, hunt and gather, cook, make your own clothes and such. I'll tell you whats learned naturally by children: Love and energy, quantum physics (this goes for animals too), deductive reasoning (cause/effect), observation skills, communication skills, manifestation (Law of Attraction), compassion and much more. Math was only introduced to us to count money and science to keep the search for information/answers outward instead of inward. These methods keep one separate from Source and the truth that we are one spirit incarnated in many bodies (will also touch on that another time). We have to start letting our children become who they want to, let them fly, let them create, let them make mistakes and fall down, otherwise, how would they learn to pick themselves up? Everything learned in childhood effects how they look at life as they grow up. So, say every time your kid fell down, YOU picked him/her up. Then, by association, the child would learn that when he/she gets in trouble YOU will rescue them. If they get behind on bills, they can just ask you and you'll pay it for them. Or if he/she is arrested, you'll just pay to get them bonded out. And of course you probably would because you love them, but if you want your child to be independent, i suggest not picking up after him/her wherever they go. Sounds extreme but it's so true.
Life is like water, there are ripples with every drop that will reverberate for an eternity.
If this doesn't make sense, think about our nature as spiritual beings, experiencing what its like to be on the 3rd dimension. We are adventurous, we are creative, we are active, we are compassionate, we are loving and empathizing, and we are unconditional, without boundary. Boundaries are learned, and they are unlearned. Love, on the other hand, is our identity. Unconditionally, nothing else matters.
THIS isn't taught in school.

Hi erbody :) let's talk about creative expression
Welcome! thank you for checking out my blog.
I want to ask YOU a question; what is your idea of spirituality? do you have one?
To me, spirituality is NOT a religion, but a dedication to oneself. So, in dedication to myself and my beliefs I began this blog and began daily writing in a journal. I will blog often and I write in my journal every day (most days at least). This is a fitting dedication because I express myself through writing and speech. Other ways that I express myself are by singing, playing instruments, DIY projects, cooking, meditation, yoga and helping others. Some of these are also daily dedications because they make me feel GREAT!
How do you express yourself? If you ever experience boredom, this is a sign that you have energy to put forth towards another hobby. I'm rarely bored lol I keep busy. The reason I chose this as my first topic is because I find that most people who have blockages in their energy/aura/spirit do not take enough time out of their day to express and use their energy. This could be a leading cause of depression. And, NO, watching TV is NOT a way to express oneself, in fact, it is a good way to stay in-active, therefore, a lack of expression. Making sure to do even ONE thing that makes you feel good and use your energy daily is a wonderful way of loving, expanding and taking care of the Spirit. This is a major focus of mine, for self love is, also, how you can unconditionally love and accept others.
In the future, I will be posting about many different things such as Dreams, Ego, Natural living, Travel, Creative Expression, Unity, Family, Festivals, Music, Consciousness/Subconsciousness, Magic/Energy, Entheogens, Homeopathy and MUCH more.
Please leave your comments below or email me (email address is located at bottom right hand side of page).
